Practical Tips for Modeling & Nude Modeling
- Let a friend or loved one know where you are going to be, and the times you are supposed to be there.
- Bring a pair of comfortable slip on shoes for protection and comfort in between set-ups.
- Bring a slip on robe for in between set-ups, smoke breaks, etc.
- Panties and bras cause skin marks.
- Do stretching exercises before the shoot, so you can be loose and flexible.
- Familiarize yourself with the photographer's work ahead of time.
- Work with people who create photos that you admire and adore.
- Change it up. Generally don't wear any one item throughout an entire shoot, unless that's what is called for.
- Practice poses in the mirror, and take lots of selfies to better acquaint yourself with expression and body movement.
- Take up dance and yoga.
- Collect basic wardrobe items that will photograph well.
- Communicate with the photographer ahead of time.
- Make a good checklist.
- Bring music on your phone in case you are invited to plug it in.
- Double check to make sure you have all of your things before leaving the shoot.
- Love yourself and your body.
- Have fun and enjoy the creativity.
